A few months ago, we gave you the lowdown on a hip, new hotel coming to Palm Springs that is promising to flip the hospitality script when it comes to service and technology.

Arrive Hotels, a new brand developed by former Facebook employee Ezra Callahan, plans to do away with the front desk when it opens, instead allowing guests to walk right up to the lobby restaurant and bar and check-in there. Arrive also hopes to have a well-rounded, highly-trained staff where the bartender can not only craft a mean cocktail but can also hand over the room keys. And everyone will be reachable via text since the guest rooms won’t have telephones.

Speaking of the guest rooms, after months of silence, Arrive is slowly starting to undress for us.  Check out this photo of one of their 32 guest rooms they put on Facebook.

Those floors! That headboard! That nightstand! So much to admire here, but Arrive wallpaper? That’s a bold choice. Not shown: the clerestory windows overlooking the desert mountains.

Arrive’s website still has not fully arrived yet, and reservations are not open, but the hotel is still aiming for a winter opening with rates starting at $199 a night. The hotel will also have an 80-seat restaurant, a 66-foot pool, and a giant 20-foot party jacuzzi.
