FROM MUMBAI TO BROOKLYN, SOHO HOUSE IS ON A ROLL

2 -min. read

There is no slowing down Soho House. It seems the unveiling of glittering city club and hotel The Ned earlier this year was just the start of things to come, with the group planning on opening a third New York club this Autumn in the form of Dumbo House. The latest House addition will be taking over the riverside Empire Stores, an old coffee-making warehouse built in the 1870s. Although there won’t be a pool, there will be an outside terrace making the most of the Dumbo waterfront, with views of the East River and Statue of Liberty.

However perhaps more interestingly, the group has finally taken its first steps into Asia. Soho House Mumbai is set to open later this year, and while details are still light on the ground, this is what we know so far…

Soho House Mumbai

Located in the upscale but trendy neighbourhood of Juhu, Soho House Mumbai will be a beachside property with direct access to the popular and iconic Juhu Beach. Aside from ocean views, Soho House Mumbai will have 38 bedrooms ranging from small to medium, as well as a rooftop pool and bar, gym, screening room, lounge/bar The Allis and a Cecconi’s restaurant overlooking the beach. Plus, we hear there will be two ‘Playrooms’…

Moreover, that’s just this year: come 2018, Soho House will be unveiling White House City London, at the former BBC headquarters; reopening the original House (40 Greek Street); opening Soho House Amsterdam; and finally launching a second house in LA, Soho Warehouse.
