STANDARD HOTELS HAVE KICKED OFF OKTOBERFEST WITH THEIR OWN BRAND OF BEER

1 -min. read

‘Tis the season to be Prost!-ing with your best friends and your best steins. Fa-la-la-la-la-la….splat right into a pretzel loaded with mustard.

That’s right, Oktoberfest season has officially begun and Standard Hotels has rung in the boisterous season with Helles Lager, its limited edition beer from Brooklyn’s Sixpoint Brewery. (Yup, the hotel booze trend continues.) The beer, served in a bright yellow and black can, is a traditional German type of pale lager made with 5 percent alcohol.

Here’s how the Standard is selling it:

“No matter what city you’re in or what trouble you’re getting yourself into, it’s light and bright enough to drink your fill all day, and clear enough to feel good about it the next day. “

SOLD!

The beer will be available in all Standard Hotel restaurants in NYC, LA, and Miami as well as in all the hotel room minibars from now through October 3rd. Another fun way that Standard Hotels are celebrating Oktoberfest? With sausage-eating contests at The Standard High Line’s Biergarten. Um, we’ll sip some Helles Lager but you should totally do it….
