IT’S GETTING SHADY AT THE W SOUTH BEACH

Dreaming of a Miami getaway but can’t quite make it there? Then consider this hot offering from the W South Beach.

The sexy oceanfront hotel has teamed up with eyewear designer Garrett Leight to create a limited-edition pair of sunglasses that will have you fronting like you’re in sunny Miami, even if you’re somewhere quite the opposite. The retro-inspired frames feature pure crystal acetate that’s complemented by a cool blue lens, inspired by the crystal blue waters of the W South Beach’s own pool. Already, we love.

Previously, Leight’s shades were available for W guests to rent poolside. Now, they can take these home. But if you’re interested, you’ll have to act fast if you want a pair. Only 100 of the W x Garrett Leight sunglasses were created. They are currently being sold on-property at the W South Beach for $395 as well as at Garrett Leight retail stores and online.

W teamed up with Leight as well as another eyewear designer Thierry Lasry last spring to create shades for the W Paris, shades that we still are kicking ourselves for not buying when we popped in there in June. Le sigh.
