What do you do and how did you get here?

I am the Managing Director of Travel 54, a boutique travel agency based in Buenos Aires providing tailormade holidays for the smart traveller and corporate trips for creative companies seeking the creation of memories beyond the beaten track. I always loved to travel since I was very young and I define myself as a natural entrepreneur, so I decided to share my love for travel and founded my own travel agency eight years ago.

LE’s tagline is Rebels With Cause. What makes you a rebel and what would you describe as your (professional) cause? 

The fact that I never followed rules or professional stereotypes and I dare to take risks could be seen as rebellious. I started my own travel business with little professional experience in this field but a very strong vision, a lot of passion and hard work; and after all these years, it has been an amazing professional adventure filled with personal growth and opportunities. My professional cause is to create something completely unique for my clients. In my opinion, luxury travel is all about helping our clients experience things that they didn’t even know they could dream of.

What makes the people who work for your company different? 

First of all, they love what they do. They create the perfect trip by listening to our clients. Each of us here in our Buenos Aires office has in-depth experience in travel and we combine our enthusiasm with an outsider’s perspective on local ways!

What are you looking for when booking travel for your company? 

In Travel 54 we believe that personalised travel is defined in the details. We love discovering new places and new experiences and making them accessible to our clients. Our team spends each and every day customising travel with this guiding principle in mind.

What travel brands do you love?

I really like André Balazs properties, especially The Standard Hotels; Fasano Hotels in Brazil; Grupo Habita in Mexico; Firmdale Hotels; and Black Tomato travel agency.

What are you hoping to discover at LE 2016?

I’m super excited about LE 2016 because this is my first time at the show and I’ve heard amazing things from my colleagues. I would like to discover new boutique hotels and travel partners and meet the inspiring people who are changing the travel industry!
