MINISTRY OF IDEAS 2016: SHOW US YOUR BIG…IDEA

2 -min. read

This year, LE’s Ministry of Ideas is going poolside at SLS South Beach and it’s you, the collective, who’ll be taking to the stage and Owning It at the travel industry’s first ever un-conference. We want you to tell us your Big Idea to change the future of travel – and we’ll put the most informed, inspired and downright provocative rebels on stage to present their Big Idea to the LE collective at the Ministry of Ideas on 6 June.

Fancy your chances? Send us a ONE-MINUTE VIDEO or FIVE-SLIDE PRESENTATION outlining your Big Idea. If you’re chosen to speak, you’ll have four minutes to impress on stage, followed by a minute of questions and then the chance to ‘talk somewhere more private’ (but actually) in the dedicated breakout cabanas.

Need some tips? Here’s how to get through to us with your Big Idea…

1. KNOW YOUR CAUSE
The most attractive minds know what they’re about – and OWN IT. To make us believe in your vision for a transformed industry, tell us exactly what you want to achieve.

2. CHAT US UP
You only get one chance to make a first impression, so think about what will make you stand out in 140 characters… Remember: applications are for our eyes only, so don’t hold back 😉

3. KEEP IT BRIEF
No-one likes people who talk about themselves too much – video submissions should be one minute or less and presentations no longer than five slides.

4. WE’RE OPEN MINDED
You don’t have to be attending LE to present at the Ministry of Ideas – if you’ve got a Big… Idea, we want to see it.

5. LATE ISN’T FASHIONABLE
We don’t know about you, but we don’t like to be kept waiting. Submissions after 16 May will not be accepted – no exceptions.

To submit your Big Idea, complete THIS FORM by 16 MAY. Sorry gorgeous, but late applications will not be considered.
